LEO LEADERSHIP CAMP 2013

CAMP INFO
LOCATION
The Leo Leadership Camp 2013
will be held at TAMAN PERTANIAN, Kuantan. The camp site is about 20 minutes
drive from SMK Air Putih.
DURATION
The camp will be for THREE (3)
days, commencing on 28th March 2013 (Thursday) and concluding on 30th
March 2012 (Saturday).
COST
The fee is RM120.00 for each
participant. All application must reach the Camp Organizing Secretary no later
than 18th March 2013 (Thursday). The payment must be made crossed
and payable to “LEO CLUB OF SMK AIR PUTIH”.
REFUNDS
No refund will be issued to
participants withdrawing from the Camp. A suitable substitute is allowed up to
7days prior to the camp and the Secretariat MUST be informed.
SELECTION
The camp caters for up to 100
participants ranging from 13years to 17years old on FIRST COME FIRST SERVED
basis. They will be selected on the basis of an even mix of youth of different
school, races and cultures. Please apply early to ensure successful selection.
The decisions of the Committee on the selection of the participants are final.
HEALTH
Participants should be of
healthy body and mind.
RULES
Camp rules and protocols are
applied and must be strictly followed. Smoking, consumption of alcoholic
beverages, drugs, fighting, destroying of camp properties, vandalism and
leaving the camp boundary are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. No valuables are to be brought
to the camp.
LANGUAGE
Participants should command at
least a minimum proficiency in the English language. This is the official
language of the camp.

(Anjung) by 9.30am. Buses will leave at 10.00am sharp.
END OF CAMP:
30th March 2013
Buses will leave the Camp at 3pm.

Parent(s) or guardian(s) who
wish to bring the participant directly to the camp by private transport may do
so, but please ensure such arrangements are informed to the Leos Leadership
Organizing Secretary.
The Leos Leadership Organizing
Secretary should also be kept fully informed on the travel itinerary of all
campers so that transport to the camp can be planned in advance.

FOOD AND LODGING
Separate campsite for males
and for females are provided.
2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2
dinners will be provided. Vegetarian food can also be arranged. (Please
indicate in the form.)

NOTICE
to participants
Although
the weather is usually warm, participants should be prepared for any changes in
the weather and bring appropriate clothing for all conditions – i.e. hot ,
cold, wet.
To
prevent any undue travel delays or anxiety to the Leo Leadership Camp
Organizers, frequent and up-to-date communication is required between campers,
their families and the Leo Leadership Camp 2013 Organizing Secretariat:
