As usual, we had odd jobs. The purpose to have odd jobs is to raise funds for our club, Leo Club of SMK Air Putih. This year, we had odd jobs on the 14th of August 2011( Sunday). The leos gathered at TC beach ( Teluk Chempedak) at 7.00am. We brought pails, clothes and cleaning agents. After all the volunteers arrived, we had a meal and took photos for good remembering memories. Around 8am, we began our job, our journey to our destination, The Pelindung area. First, we arrived at a huge bungalow. The owner of the bungalow ordered us to plow the grass and also beautify the environment. we did it and took for more than 1 hour to finish it. We went to house by house for asking the owners to allow us to do some houseworks in order to raise fund for our club. Some rejected us while some accepted our request kindly. Many houseworks or jobs we did, such as washing cars, decorating the gardens and others
At the end,we were bursting with joy becasue we earned hundreds of ringgits and able to raise funds for our club successfully. Although we were exhausted but we were elated and enjoyed. At here, we would like to thank our leos for sacrificing their times and energy to make the activity to be carried out fruitfully. The odd jobs gave experiences to us and let us to become more mature, more industrious and more teamworking in our daily routine or life. We will discuss to our president to hold odd jobs again for the next year.
